Alighieri's 'The Crustacean Bookmark Necklace' celebrates the magic of escapism in books and stories. Inspired by lingering summer days reading by the sea, the Crustacean functions as a bookmark, and can also be worn as a medallion on its delicate trace chain.

The Crustacean Bookmark is cast in 100% recycled sterling silver and sits on a silver trace chain that can be worn at three adjustable lengths - 16, 18 or 20 inches (40.64cm, 45.72cm and 50.8cm).

Hand-crafted through the ancient craft of lost-wax casting, locally in London’s Hatton Garden. Please note, each pendant is completely unique, so they may vary in shape and size. Jewellery is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

Alighieri is a collection of jewellery inspired by Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy’; each piece corresponds to one of the poet’s 100 poems. Founded by Rosh Matani in 2014 with the intention of creating "Modern heirlooms that celebrate the beauty of human imperfection", every piece is handcrafted in London's Hatton Garden by a family-run business through the process of lost-wax casting.
