Closely tied to the city of the canals, the brand drew inspiration from the gondolier's friulane shoe reimagining them with a modern flair to create its signature slipper in 2016, followed by their classic Mary-Jane soon after.

With a background in architecture, gemmology and jewellery, Le Monde Béryl founders Lily Atherton Hanbury and Katya Shifrin reinvented the shoes that would carry them "from meetings to museum openings - and everywhere in between" effortlessly and elegantly.
